Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Inspector Pete Foster is the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Chippenham, Calne, and Corsham, covering both the towns and surrounding rural areas. He has held this role since January 2024.
Pete joined Wiltshire Police in March 2007 and has served in a variety of frontline and leadership roles, including Response and Neighbourhood Policing as both a Police Constable and Sergeant in Swindon, as well as time spent in Custody. He also worked as a Force Incident Manager in the Crime and Communication Centre in Devizes and is a qualified Tactical Firearms Commander.
With extensive experience in neighbourhood policing at all levels: PC, Sergeant, and now Inspector, Pete brings a strong understanding of community engagement, long-term problem solving, and safeguarding.
He leads a dedicated team of Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers focused on protecting the vulnerable, reducing harm, and building safer, more connected communities.
Sergeant Mike Tripp is the Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant for Corsham and Calne, bringing 24 years of dedicated service with Wiltshire Police. For the past three years, he has been a key member of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, where his focus on community engagement and problem-solving has made a meaningful difference.
Throughout his career, Mike has served exclusively in frontline roles, gaining extensive experience across Malmesbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, and Swindon. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of local issues have shaped his commitment to effective, community-based policing.
Mike is passionate about Neighbourhood Policing and values the strong partnerships he has built with local agencies and organisations. He believes that collaboration is essential to tackling issues, reducing crime, and improving the quality of life for residents. Mike takes pride in being visible, approachable, and proactive in addressing the needs of the communities he serves.
With a focus on building trust and maintaining strong community links, Mike continues to work closely with partner agencies to ensure that local concerns are heard and addressed. His experience and commitment play a vital role in delivering policing that truly reflects and supports the people of Corsham and Calne.
PC Adam Neish is a Police Constable on the Corsham Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), covering Corsham, Neston, Box, Colerne and Lacock.
Adam began his policing career as a PCSO in Swindon, serving in that role for four years before becoming a Police Constable. He then spent three years on Swindon’s Response team before joining the Corsham NPT, where he has been for the past two and a half years.
Adam has a particular passion for youth engagement, focusing on early intervention to help steer young people away from crime and towards more positive futures. He works closely with schools, community groups and partner agencies to build trust, offer guidance and provides young people with opportunities and support.
Detective Constable 1838 Kev Golledge is part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team covering Corsham and the surrounding rural areas, including Lacock, Neston, Gastard, Box, Colerne, and the nearby villages.
DC Golledge began his policing career with Wiltshire Police in 2003, initially based in Swindon. He qualified as a Detective Constable in 2006 and has since built a wide-ranging portfolio of investigative experience. His career has included roles on response teams, CID in both Swindon and the wider county, the Robbery Team, and various specialist operations such as Operation Liberal (focusing on distraction burglaries and rogue trader offences) and Operation Sirius (targeting high-value gold burglaries).
He has also served on the Community Tasking Team, supporting Neighbourhood Policing Teams in targeting prolific offenders, disrupting drug supply, and tackling cross-border criminality. More recently, he has worked within the Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT) and now brings his expertise to neighbourhood policing.
DC Golledge holds specialist roles as a Wildlife Officer, Heritage Crime Officer, and is the force's Officer for Football Operations (OFO) for Swindon Town FC.
His local focus includes tackling rural crime and acquisitive offences, particularly dwelling and non-dwelling burglaries. With a wealth of investigative experience and a passion for protecting rural communities, DC Golledge plays a key role in safeguarding residents and addressing the crimes that matter most to them.
