Speeding and Equine Road Safety Awareness
Action taken:
Speeding through our rural villages continues to be raised as a concern. We are conducting targeted speed checks, using both enforcement and education and working closely with Community Speed Watch schemes.
Last month, 48 speed awareness courses given out in the Corsham/Box area through enforcement sessions.
Another focus is equine road safety awareness. Horse riders are regular road users across our rural patch, and we want to ensure both riders and drivers feel safe. DEAD SLOW signage for rural sites can be requested from the NPT.
