Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Wiltshire police is split into ten Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs). Each NPT is led by an inspector and made up of sergeants, PCs, PCSOs and is supported by additional officers from the wider area to help serve the community and help keep you safe.
Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Action taken:
To reduce business and retail-related crime in Trowbridge town centre and surrounding commercial areas, creating a safer environment for local businesses, employees, and customers.

Op Limit and Licensing Checks
Action taken:
During December, NPTs will be conducting licensing checks in pubs/clubs to help aid with the national campaign against drink/drug driving.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Hotspot Patrols at Vulnerable and Repeat Locations and Patrols of Closure Order areas.
Action taken:
Engage with residents, community leaders, and local businesses in hotspot areas to gather information on ASB trends and gain community support for policing efforts.
