A total of 120 people were arrested for drink or drug driving offences in Wiltshire during December, a 35% increase on December 2024.
Wiltshire Police continues to carry out regular Project Vigilant deployments, which consist of intelligence-led patrols of hotspot locations to identify potential sexual predators and prevent sexual violence against women and girls (VAWG) across the county.
Local policing teams across Wiltshire carried out over 100 additional public engagements during Safer Business Action (SaBA) week, which took place from last Monday, 10 November, to Sunday 16 November.
Officers increased patrols of Wiltshire’s major road networks to disrupt and intercept criminal activity, as part of a national week of action targeting organised vehicle crime.
Communities across Wiltshire and Swindon will benefit from a focused initiative aimed at enhancing safety and reducing crime in town centres across the county during the busier summer months.
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in Coronation Road

Targeted activity has taken place over several months for ASB and Neighbourhood disputes in Coronation Road.
Partnership working has proved positive, with a former resident having an Injunction placed upon them and a Closure Order on their address – this has significantly lowered ASB.
