Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Joe Senior is the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for North, East and Rural Swindon NPT sector, covering the majority of North and East Swindon and the surrounding villages including Highworth and Wroughton. He leads a team of Sergeants, PCs and PCSOs focused on problem solving, partnership working and community engagement across the area.
Joe has been a police officer for 20 years, and has worked in Swindon since 2013 in a variety of roles never far from front line policing. He joined the NPT in 2023. Joe has a particular interest in how the police can work with partner agencies to develop innovative solutions to problems, and the use of new technologies in policing.
Joe holds ancillary roles as a Tactical Firearms Commander and Post Incident Manager, and also undertakes training roles within the organisation.
PC Dominic Tonge is a Neighbourhood Policing Team Officer for the North, East and Rural Swindon area. He is responsible for the communities of Redhouse, Oakhurst, Abbey Meads, Tadpole Garden Village, Haydon Wick, Haydon End, and Taw Hill.
With 17 years of service in Wiltshire Police, Dominic has experience both as a Police Community Support Officer and a Police Constable. This breadth of experience has shaped his strong commitment to local policing.
As a Neighbourhood Policing Officer, Dominic is focused on tackling local issues, building community relationships, and working to keep his area safe and supported.
PCSO Emma Harriman has served as a Police Community Support Officer for 19 years and was part of the team that helped establish Neighbourhood Policing in Swindon. With nearly two decades of experience, she brings a deep understanding of community safety and engagement to her role.
Emma currently covers the North Swindon area, with specific responsibility for Green Meadow, Haydon Wick, Haydon End, and Taw Hill. She is particularly passionate about safeguarding and Prevent work, and she plays an active role in supporting vulnerable individuals within the community.
In addition, Emma is the police representative for the Swindon Dementia Action Alliance, helping to ensure those living with dementia are supported and understood. Her commitment to building safer, more inclusive communities remains at the heart of everything she does.
PCSO Lee Hare is a dedicated member of the Swindon North, East & Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team. He joined Wiltshire Police in September 2006, beginning his career on the Parks and Walcot areas before moving to serve the North Swindon area in 2007.
Lee is deeply rooted in the community he serves and takes great pride in building strong relationships with local schools, organisations and residents. He is passionate about delivering the highest standard of service, engaging both in person and online to address the issues that matter most to his community.
His commitment is driven by a desire to help people feel safe and supported in the places they live.
