Following his promotion, he spent 18 months as a Duty Inspector on a response team before returning to Central South in 2021 as Sector Head.
David is passionate about his Neighbourhood Policing Team investing in the local community and working in partnership to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB). Community engagement remains a top priority for David. He is committed to building strong relationships with schools, community groups, and key stakeholders. By ensuring his team maintains a visible presence at community events and actively listens to local concerns, David works to foster collaboration and find effective solutions to prevent crime and reduce ASB.
