    Business Crime

    Issued 14 October 2026

    Action taken:

High Visibility Patrols, alongside partnership working between Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Council, Salisbury BID, and other partner agencies. These days of action will help tackle business crime and anti-social behaviour, which are having a significant impact on individual businesses as well as for the wider community. The Salisbury Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) is a collaborative initiative between the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Salisbury BID, Wiltshire Police, and local authorities.

  • Priority:

    Rural burglaries

    Issued 14 October 2026

    Action taken:

Proactive patrols are taking place in rural locations across Whiteparish and Wilton following several reports of non-dwelling burglaries in some of these areas. Predominately outbuilding have been targeted, tools and bikes have been reported stolen. Local officers are liaising with colleagues in Hampshire and sharing intelligence and information regarding these offences.

    Burglaries related to businesses

    Issued 14 October 2026

    Action taken:

There has been an increase in nighttime burglaries mainly in the City Centre, but also along the main roads coming into the city, such as Castle Road. These are believed to be linked. The teams are continuing to conduct targeted patrols in hot spot areas.

  • Priority:

    Community Speed Watch

    Issued 14 October 2026

    Action taken:

The teams continue to support, where capacity allows, the positive work the Community Speed Watch teams do across the area.

    Actioned 14 October 2026

  • Priority:

    Vulnerable checks

    Issued 19 July 2026

    Action taken:

Officers conduct regular visits to our identified vulnerable people to both reassure them following reported concerns and to deter visits by criminals who wish to exploit them. We have been working closely with Wiltshire Council Housing on evidence to support several injunctions which we have now got in place. These premises are visited regularly by the teams to provide support to those who are most vulnerable.

    Actioned 19 July 2026

  • Priority:

ASB related to illegal ebikes/motorised scooters

    Issued 14 October 2026

    Action taken:

We have recently seen an increase in reported incidents of ASB and dangerous driving involving the use of illegal ebikes and scooters. This has predominately been in the City Centre, but this has been an issue across many areas in the Salisbury area.

    Actioned 14 October 2026
