Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Wiltshire police is split into ten Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs). Each NPT is led by an inspector and made up of sergeants, PCs, PCSOs and is supported by additional officers from the wider area to help serve the community and help keep you safe.
Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Non dwelling burglaries
Action taken:
We have continued to carry out a number of proactive operations throughout the summer months, with our colleagues from Dorset, Hampshire and BT Police. These proactive operations will continue to disrupt possible offending and gathering intelligence where possible.

Off road motorbikes/ quadbikes
Action taken:
Reports have been received regarding the use of off-road motorbikes and quadbikes being ridden in the Bemerton Heath area which is causing a danger to road users. Targeted patrols are being conducted in this area, to identify the perpetrators and deal with them robustly. We have introduced Section 59 warning notices in this area, along with other areas in Salisbury and will deal robustly with anyone committing related offences.
