Inspector Andy Lemon has served with Wiltshire Police for 24 years, during which time he has gained extensive experience across both Uniform and Detective roles.
For the past 10 years, he has held the rank of Inspector, undertaking a range of responsibilities including Covert Intelligence, Force Intelligence Manager and his current position as Neighbourhood Inspector for the Devizes area.
The majority of Andy’s career has been spent as a Detective, having served at all ranks within detective roles. His background includes both proactive and reactive crime investigation, as well as several intelligence-based positions. In addition to his operational experience, Andy is an accredited Initial Tactical Firearms Commander, an accredited Post Incident Manager and the Tactical Rural Crime Lead for the Force.
Deb Laycock is the Neighbourhood Sergeant overseeing the Marlborough and Pewsey areas. She began her policing career with Wiltshire Police in 2019 as a uniformed response officer based in Warminster, before moving into the Child Abuse Investigation Team, where she served as a Detective for three years.
In July 2025, Deb took on the role of Neighbourhood Sergeant for Marlborough and Pewsey and is passionate about delivering the best possible service to the communities she serves.
She enjoys working closely with local PCs and PCSOs, building strong relationships within the community, and spending time out and about in the neighbourhoods.
Attending community events throughout the year is a particular highlight for Deb and an important opportunity to show how much the team cares about local residents.
She describes her role as a genuine privilege and remains committed to working hard for the communities she serves.
PC Barron is the latest addition to the Devizes Neighbourhood Policing team, covering the Pewsey area.
PC Rebecca Ryalls is the dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Officer for the Pewsey area, forming part of the wider Devizes Neighbourhood Policing Team. With a strong passion for community-focused policing, Rebecca brings a proactive and approachable style to her role, working closely with local residents, schools, and partner agencies to address concerns and improve public safety.
PCSO Jonathan Mills has been serving with Wiltshire Police for 19 years. With extensive experience, Jonathan brings a deep understanding of community-focused policing to his role covering the Vale of Pewsey.
Jonathan particularly enjoys working within the neighbourhood team and takes pride in advising local residents on how to protect their property, especially through the use of modern technology. His commitment to supporting the community and enhancing safety makes him a trusted and approachable figure in the Vale of Pewsey.
Burglary from the home, including garage breaks

This work focuses on preventing opportunistic and organised theft, protecting residents’ property, and increasing awareness of security measures. Through targeted patrols, crime prevention advice, and partnership working, efforts are aimed at deterring offenders, supporting victims, and improving overall community safety and resilience.

Disruption to drug supply and associated addresses

Pewsey continues to prioritise the disruption of drug supply networks and the identification of addresses linked to drug-related activity. This includes targeting individuals involved in the distribution of controlled substances, safeguarding vulnerable residents, and working with partners to address properties being used for criminal exploitation, such as “cuckooing.” Through proactive policing, intelligence-led operations, and community engagement, the aim is to reduce harm, prevent exploitation, and improve safety and confidence within the local community.

Rural crime / hare coursing prevention and detection

Tackling rural crime, with a particular focus on preventing and detecting hare coursing, remains a key priority in Pewsey. This work aims to protect farmland, wildlife, and the rural way of life, while supporting landowners and the wider community. Through high-visibility patrols, intelligence-led enforcement, and close partnership working with farmers and rural organisations, efforts are focused on deterring offenders, disrupting criminal activity, and bringing those responsible to justice, while maintaining confidence in rural policing.
