Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) / Street Drinking
Issued 22 May 2026
Two Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) were issued to known street drinkers and have since been escalated to Community Protection Notices (CPNs).
We’ve delivered regular engagement sessions in the town centre, including the use of the exhibition vehicle, and carried out daily patrols in identified ASB hotspots.
Throughout December there was a significant amount of proactive Op Dasher activity with community reassurance visits to businesses.
We also attended CCTV partnership meetings and shared information on individuals of concern to improve early identification and monitoring.
We continue to tackle antisocial behaviour and street drinking through targeted patrols and partnership working to improve community safety.
