Witness appeal following incident in Salisbury

We are appealing for witnesses following an incident in the St Peter's Place area of Salisbury yesterday (25/09) at approximately 7.30pm.

A dark-coloured car, with two male occupants inside, reportedly approached two 10-year-old children along Wyvern Row. No injuries were reported.

Detective Inspector Eirin Martin, South CID, said: "We understand that this is a concerning incident for the local community, please be assured that officers are conducting multiple lines of enquiry.

"We will continue to maintain a high visibility policing presence in the local area.

"Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact 999 quoting log 343 of yesterday's date (25/09).

"I'd also encourage anyone who has been involved in a similar type of incident or is aware of one to report it to us via our website or by calling 101.

"If a crime is in progress, always call 999."
