A Misconduct Hearing concerning Police Constable 70572 Tony Walsh, chaired by Assistant Chief Officer Craig Holden, concluded on Wednesday 10th June.
It considered three allegations, namely:
The Panel concluded that all three allegations were found proven and breached the Standards of Professional behaviour in relation to Discreditable Conduct and Authority, Respect & Courtesy.
As a result, PC Walsh was dismissed without notice.*
A full report will be published in due course.
*In line with the Police Conduct regulations 2020, PC Walsh has a period of 10 working days to appeal the outcome.
