Inspector Andy Lemon has served with Wiltshire Police for 24 years, during which time he has gained extensive experience across both Uniform and Detective roles.
For the past 10 years, he has held the rank of Inspector, undertaking a range of responsibilities including Covert Intelligence, Force Intelligence Manager and his current position as Neighbourhood Inspector for Trowbridge, Melksham and Bradford on Avon Neighbourhood Policing Teams.
The majority of Andy’s career has been spent as a Detective, having served at all ranks within detective roles. His background includes both proactive and reactive crime investigation, as well as several intelligence-based positions. In addition to his operational experience, Andy is an accredited Initial Tactical Firearms Commander, an accredited Post Incident Manager and the Tactical Rural Crime Lead for the Force.
Sergeant 2315 Gemma Rutter joined Wiltshire Police in October 2006. She began her policing career with initial training in Warminster before taking up her first operational role as a response officer in Devizes. She later moved to Trowbridge, continuing in response policing before transitioning to CID in 2017.
After five years working as a Detective Constable within Central CID, she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and returned to Trowbridge as a Response Sergeant. She also spent time covering the County Duty Inspector role before joining the Trowbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team, where she now leads both the Melksham and Bradford on Avon teams.
With experience policing across much of the county and involvement in a number of large-scale policing operations, Sergeant Rutter brings a wealth of operational and investigative expertise to her current role. Her particular passion lies in community policing that places families at the centre of crime prevention strategies - working closely with parents and guardians to deter youth crime through diversion, education, and where necessary, prosecution.
Sergeant Rutter remains committed to building strong community relationships and delivering a local policing service that is visible, effective and responsive to the needs of residents.
PC Tipple is a Neighbourhood Police Officer covering the ET12 area of Trowbridge, which includes the communities of Adcroft and Paxcroft.
This primarily residential patch is home to several schools and community initiatives such as the ‘Kindness Café’ and the ‘Community Fridge’ at Seymour Hub.
PCSO Laura Wallace is a valued member of the Neighbourhood Policing Team for Adcroft and Paxcroft.
Laura works proactively to address local concerns, prevent crime, and support vulnerable individuals. She regularly collaborates with parish councils, schools, and community groups to help maintain safety and promote community wellbeing.
Known for her approachable and supportive nature, Laura is passionate about rural policing and takes pride in being a consistent and trusted presence across the villages she serves.
