Wiltshire police is split into ten Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs). Each NPT is led by an inspector and made up of sergeants, PCs, PCSOs and is supported by additional officers from the wider area to help serve the community and help keep you safe.
Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.
Anti-Social Behaviour in Comet Way and Coronation Road
Issued 16 April 2024
We continue to receive sporadic reports of vehicle related ASB in Comet Way and Coronation Road.
Working with The Deanery and Waitrose to reduce reports of ASB.
Work continues with the other neighbourhood teams to tackle this Borough Wide issue. Injunctions have now been issued by Swindon Magistrates Court to persons known to be involved in causing these issues. Will continue to monitor this situation for the foreseeable.
Targeted activity has taken place over several months for the ASB and Neighbourhood disputes in Coronation Road.
Partnership working has proved positive, with a former resident having an Injunction placed upon them and a Closure Order on their address – this has significantly lowered ASB. We have executed a Drugs Warrant in the area and made an arrest for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and this remains under investigation.
