Your Community Policing Team
Wiltshire police is split into eight Community Policing Teams (CPTs). Each CPT is led by an inspector and made up of sergeants, PCs, PCSOs and is supported by additional officers from the wider area to help serve the community and help keep you safe.
Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Speed Enforcement and Road Safety
Action taken:
Neighbourhood officers alongside CSW and Speed Enforcement officers are continuing to target known hotspots and the breaching of TRO Weight limits in South Marston and Severnhampton – future operations are being planned and speeding in hotspots will be monitored as we head further into 2023.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in Highworth: Increased High visibility patrols to combat increase in ASB and low level criminality.
Action taken:
Restorative justice and the use of Anti-Social Behaviour orders are now being used to prevent /reduce offending for the forseeable.
