Inspector Lawrence Copeland is proud to be the Neighbourhood Inspector for the RWB, Stratton, Central Swindon, North and West Neighbourhood Policing Team.

With 21 years in policing, including roles in Response, Custody and various Neighbourhood teams, Lawrence is passionate about making a positive impact in this community.

Sergeant Quarrell is the latest addition to the Central Swindon North neighbourhood policing team, covering Gorse Hill, Moredon, Penhill, Pinehurst, Rodbourne, Rodbourne Cheney and Whitworth Road.

PC Mason joined the organisation in December 2018, initially serving two years as a Special Constable before taking up a full-time role in January 2021.

He spent three and a half years on Swindon’s frontline response teams, gaining extensive experience in fast?paced, community?focused policing. In January 2025, he moved to the Integrated Gangs Team, where his work has centred on youth violence, knife crime, and urban street gangs exploiting young people to deal drugs.

Continuing his commitment to safeguarding young people and disrupting criminal activity, PC Mason’s current focus includes targeting youth gangs, street-level drug dealing, and knife-related offences.

He is dedicated to proactive, intelligence-led policing to identify, disrupt, and deter offenders and organised groups operating in these areas.

PC 2076 Williams is part of the West Swindon Neighbourhood Policing Team and serves as the dedicated officer for the Gorse Hill area.

With around seven years of experience in the policing family, PC Williams has held a variety of roles including Police Cadets Core Leader, working in the Communications Centre handling 101 and 999 calls and serving on Response. Their most recent role as a Neighbourhood Policing Officer reflects a continued commitment to community-focused policing.

PC Williams is passionate about working alongside partner agencies and the local community to solve problems and improve safety. He is dedicated to making Swindon a safer and more connected place for all.

PC Coates joined Wiltshire Police in 2021, completing his initial training before starting his career on the frontline with Swindon Response Team 3.

After four years serving in response policing, he has now joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team, where he is looking forward to taking on a more proactive role within the community.

PCSO Michael Ignao has been serving with Wiltshire Police since 2021. As a member of the Stratton, Central Swindon North & West Swindon Neighbourhood Policing Team, he covers the Penhill area and supports the wider team across Central Swindon North.

In addition to his core role, Mike is a Hate Crime Advisor and Crime Prevention Champion, working to support vulnerable individuals, prevent crime, and promote community safety.

Fluent in Filipino, he plays a key role in engaging with Swindon’s Filipino community and supporting wider community cohesion. Mike is committed to building strong local relationships, enhancing communication, and fostering an inclusive and secure environment for all residents.

PCSO Paul Outlaw is a Police Community Support Officer on the Stratton, Central Swindon North Neighbourhood Policing Team.

He has been in the role since 2010 and is the designated single point of contact (SPOC) for Gorse Hill Primary, St Marys Catholic Primary - where he runs a Mini Police unit at Gorse Hill.

Paul is passionate about reducing crime through proactive engagement and education, particularly with young people.

In addition to his neighbourhood duties, he also serves as a Hate Crime Advisor, which enables him to support vulnerable individuals in the community with tailored advice and assistance.
