Plane crash in Ahmedabad

Inspector Simon Garrett is the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for the Devizes, Marlborough and Pewsey areas.
With over 24 years of policing experience - 21 of those spent with Wiltshire Police - Simon has served in a wide variety of roles across the county. His background includes a strong focus on frontline policing as well as time spent in custody roles, including the delivery of specialist training.
Simon is passionate about the impact Neighbourhood Policing can have on local communities. He believes it offers a valuable opportunity to proactively target crime hotspots, reduce offending, and provide tailored support to the most vulnerable members of the public.
Leading the local Neighbourhood Team is a role Simon describes as a privilege. He is committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities he serves and ensuring his team delivers the highest possible standard of service.
Sergeant Georgie Wyatt is the Neighbourhood Sergeant overseeing the areas of Devizes, Marlborough, and Pewsey. She began her career with Wiltshire Police in 2014 as a detention officer before joining as a Police Constable in 2016.
Georgie initially policed Trowbridge in a uniformed role before transitioning into detective work. She spent around five years as a detective, gaining experience in both main office CID and proactive policing. Following this, she took on the role of managing a response team in Devizes.
Driven by a passion for community-focused policing, Georgie made the decision to join the neighbourhood team, where she now leads efforts to build strong community relationships and address local issues. Her broad policing experience and leadership make her a valued asset to the communities she serves.
PC Nicky Crabbe is a Neighbourhood Officer covering the rural areas around Devizes. She is part of a close-knit team that supports one another across the wider area whenever needed.
Nicky re-joined Wiltshire Police in 2021, having previously served for 11 years with West Midlands Police.
What she enjoys most about neighbourhood policing is the opportunity to work closely with the community - not just in a policing capacity, but also by participating in local events throughout the year. Nicky values the strong sense of community spirit and takes pride in being part of the events that bring people together.
PCSO Jonathan Mills has been serving with Wiltshire Police for 19 years. With extensive experience, Jonathan brings a deep understanding of community-focused policing to his role covering the Vale of Pewsey.
Jonathan particularly enjoys working within the neighbourhood team and takes pride in advising local residents on how to protect their property, especially through the use of modern technology. His commitment to supporting the community and enhancing safety makes him a trusted and approachable figure in the Vale of Pewsey.
