Anti-Social Behaviour and Enforcement of the Devizes Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO)
Issued 17 September 2026
Conduct regular high-visibility patrols in known ASB hotspots across Devizes.
Use powers available under the PSPO proportionately and effectively to address persistent anti-social behaviour.
Work closely with Wiltshire Council, local businesses, schools, youth services and other partners to identify and tackle the root causes of ASB.
Take positive action against individuals who repeatedly engage in anti-social or criminal behaviour.
Engage with residents and businesses to understand concerns and provide reassurance.
Encourage reporting of ASB and intelligence sharing to help us identify trends and target resources where they are most needed.
