Inspector Gavin Brewster leads the Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, having joined the role on 1 January 2025.
He transitioned into this position from the County Duty Inspector team on Response, where he served for 18 months.
With over 28 years of service in Wiltshire Police, Gavin has spent his entire career in frontline uniform policing. He began as a PC in Swindon, working in both Response and Neighbourhood Teams, before spending approximately 15 years in Roads Policing and Road Safety.
He later returned to local policing, working on Response in Trowbridge and Chippenham, followed by a position as a Neighbourhood Sergeant in Chippenham.
Now overseeing the Amesbury NPT area, Gavin is embracing the opportunity to lead his team, build strong relationships with local communities and work collaboratively with partner agencies to address local priorities and improve safety across the area.
Sergeant Caroline Ralph has been a Police Officer with Wiltshire Police for 12 years, gaining extensive experience across both Response and Investigation teams. Since 2021, she has focused her work within Neighbourhood Policing and in 2023 took on the role of Sergeant for the Amesbury Neighbourhood Team (NPT).
Caroline leads a dedicated team of five Police Constables and five Police Community Support Officers, each responsible for specific geographical areas. She oversees their work, providing support for community engagement and collaboration with partner agencies.
A significant part of Sergeant Ralph’s role involves long-term problem solving and working closely with key local organisations, including the military, schools, Wiltshire Council, and town and parish councils. Her leadership ensures that the Amesbury NPT delivers effective, community-focused policing tailored to meet the needs of the area.
PC Gray is part of the Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, based at Tidworth Police Station. He covers the areas of Bulford, Larkhill, Durrington, and Figheldean.
PCSO Francis is the new PCSO for Amesbury NPT, covering Durrington, Bulford and Larkhill.
