After 5 years in uniform, Chris joined CID, and from there became staff officer to former Chief Constable Brian Moore, where she worked on what are now DVPOs (Domestic Violence Protection Orders) and DVPNs (Domestic Violence Protection Notices).
Chris has also worked in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team, has worked as a hate crime officer, in the local crime team and was former deputy director of Intel. She now heads up our Public Protection Department which manages and protects the some of the highest risks groups in our society.
