Witness appeal to robbery in Swindon

Officers investigating a robbery in Swindon are appealing for information from the public.

Between approximately 8pm and 8.20pm on October 5, a 19-year-old man was walking along Akers Way towards Cheney Manor Industrial Estate when he was approached by six suspects on three Surron bikes.

The suspects asked for the victim’s phone and chain. When the victim refused, one of the suspects pulled out a knife.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, 6ft tall, possibly in his late teens to early 20s.

Enquiries to identify those responsible have been ongoing and we are urging anyone who was in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage, or anyone with further information to get in touch.
