Two people were seriously injured following a collision in Purton yesterday (22/4).
Emergency services were called to Pavenhill shortly before 3pm on Monday following a report that a Volkswagen Phaeton and a Honda Jazz had been involved a collision.
The driver of the Volkswagen – a man in his 30s from Swindon – was taken to Southmead Hospital by air ambulance with multiple injuries including a serious head injury.
The driver of the Honda – a man in his 40s from Purton – was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford by air ambulance with multiple serious injuries.
The next of kin of both men have been informed.
