Officers investigating disorder in Regent Circus, Swindon

Officers are investigating a disorder which occurred in Regent Circus yesterday (23/02).
Between 2.20pm and 3.20pm a group of males on bikes used weapons to cause damage to the windows of a barber shop in Regent Circus. Fortunately, nobody was injured during the incident.
Insp David Tippetts said: “This incident happened in broad daylight and no doubt there were people in the area at the time who witnessed the incident who we have not yet spoken to.
"We have been collating witness statements as part of our investigation, but if you have information and have not yet spoken to police, please get in touch now.
“We know incidents of this nature cause concern amongst members of the public – please be reassured that we are conducting extensive enquiries to identify those involved.”
