If you see something that you think is suspicious, please call 101. If a crime is in progress, call 999 now.

Farm Watch is the police alert service that aims to spot and prevent rural crime.

The free scheme sends members a message about criminal activity and advice, tailored to their area.

This means people living in rural areas can tap into police information that helps protect you and your property from criminals.

For example, if a suspicious vehicle is spotted near a farm and reported on 101, a message can be sent out to all farms in that area, urging them to be vigilant and check their property is safe.

Members can also talk directly to the police, to give updates on problems in their area.

Members also get:

  • crime prevention advice to ensure property and goods are secure
  • a property marking scheme to make it harder for thieves to dispose of stolen goods
  • warning signs for your gates and property so criminals know your property is protected
