Superintendent Conway Duncan
Conway joined Wiltshire Police in 2004, having immigrated from South Africa, where he completed 13 years in the South African Police Service.
Conway has had a varied range of roles, having performed the Sergeant Role in CID, Response, Neighbourhood, Custody and as a Staff officer. Conway was also a DI in PSD, a CIM and played a part in the College of Policing Leadership Review. For a year Conway was the Operational Chief Inspector for Tri-Force, leading the six operational Tri-Force teams over three forces and four bases. Conway has been fortunate to have had secondments to HMIC, College of Policing and recently a 9 month Professional Placement with Nationwide Building Society as a Project Manager.
Conway has a passion for change management, continuous improvement and leadership, which has been shaped and enriched by his Masters in Police Leadership and Management as well his experience from Nationwide. Conway lives in Cirencester with his wife , two dogs and two cats. His two children, a son and daughter, have left home, however he still acts as a 'bank' for them. Conway has a love/hate relationship with DIY and has used YouTube to build a garden office.
