In August 2015, Chris was made Superintendent - having previously held the roles of Sergeant and Inspector. He is also a fully trained and accredited Firearms Commander at all three levels, and managed security operations for the Olympic Torch relay in 2012, and President Obama's visit to Stonehenge.
Chris is married with two grown-up children, and two young children. He lives in an old house that he insists will take many years to finish doing up!
When not at work, or doing DIY around the house, Chris can be found cycling, climbing up mountains or drinking espresso. He also has a history of competing in Ironman Triathlons, and played rugby until his shoulders eventually had enough.
