Chief Constable Kier Pritchard

Kier was appointed Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police in November 2018.

Having joined Wiltshire Police in 1993, Kier's career has spanned most areas of policing including criminal investigation, public protection, intelligence and local policing.

He has been instrumental in developing collaborations with others forces, specifically to disrupt serious organised crime and assist in solving major crimes.

In 2014, Kier was made assistant chief constable with the responsibility for the operational policing of our county.

Kier Lives in Wiltshire, is married to Anna, a Wessex Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) prosecutor and is the proud father of five.

To relax, Kier is an active runner and enjoys other sports.
