The family of a motorcyclist who died following a collision at the A36, Knook, have made a moving tribute.
Rob Best, 62, from Bradley Stoke, was fatally injured when a car collided with three motorcycles on the A36 at Knook at around 10.30am on Saturday (31/05).
In a tribute from his family, they said, "On Saturday, 31st May, our beloved Robert Best lost his life in a road traffic accident. We would like to thank those who stopped and helped Rob and his friends to support them whilst waiting for the emergency services.
"Rob was loved and adored by all who knew him. He dedicated his life to being a good husband, father, son, brother and friend.
"Rob always sought the next adventure, whether that was going up the Empire State Building for his 60th or scuba diving in Mauritius. Rob and his friend from his local scooter club were on their way for their next adventure to Normandy when the tragedy happened.
"He leaves behind his extensive family and friends, all of whom are devastated by his loss. We ask for privacy to process during this difficult time.
"His loss will leave a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He had an impact on so many lives and will continue to live on in our memories."
