The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
We are appealing for witnesses following reports of a burglary on Cricklade Road, Swindon.
At around 4.30am on April 15, an unknown suspect broke into a food outlet and took the cash till containing £3000.
During the burglary, the suspect ripped their coat, which can be seen in the image above.
We would urge anyone in the Beatrice Street, Whiteman Street, and Florence Street area and any of the surrounding roads that had doorbell or CCTV cameras that show suspicious activity to get in touch with us.
