Six people have been arrested following an attempted robbery at the O2 phone shop in Chippenham yesterday afternoon.
Following a joint operation, officers attended the shop around 3.30pm on Sunday.
The men have been taken to Melksham and Swindon custody to be questioned in relation to a conspiracy to commit robbery.
Unfortunately, two members of the public sustained minor injuries during the incident and are receiving appropriate support.
Wiltshire detectives have been working in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police Service in relation to this offence and previous similar offending across the south. A further update will be provided in due course.
