A man has been charged with a historic rape and assault in Salisbury after being extradited from Spain.
Scott McKenzie, 35, of Hollins Lane, Stockport, was arrested in Barcelona in December 2024 for the rape and causing greivous bodily harm to a woman in Salisbury in December 2020. She was found after she had fallen from a second-storey window in Catherine Street, suffering numerous injuries.
McKenzie was also charged with raping another woman from the UK while in Prague, Czech Republic, in May 2023.
McKenzie was extradited from Spain on Tuesday and appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning (19/03) and has been remanded in custody until April 16 when he is due to appear at Salisbury Crown Court.
