We would like to remind people that there is still a Public Space Protection Order covering the Market Place and Green Lane, Devizes.
The order went live on November 15, 2024, and aims to tackle alcohol related nuisance and unruly behaviour in public places in the town.
The order gives Police Officers and PCSOs the powers to disperse anyone causing anti-social behaviour or drinking alcohol.
This week five Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued to those breaching the PSPO by consuming alcohol in the Market Place. If anyone is found to be breaching the order we will be issuing fines of £100.
If you are concerned that the order is being breached please contact us on 101 or online: Report a crime | Wiltshire Police
Please include as much information as possible including any photographic evidence.
