We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in Swindon yesterday afternoon (30/01), following which the vehicle failed to stop.
It took place at around 3.35pm on the junction of Bay Tree Court and Pinehurst Way, Swindon.
The vehicle was a green Vauxhall ADAM GLAM which had been stolen overnight from the Old Town area of Swindon and was found by officers near the scene of the collision.
Two males who were in the car fled the scene in the direction of Hornbeam Court. Our enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
They are described as white, one with blue jeans and a white top, and the other in all black. One of the suspects had a beard, the other was wearing a hat.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to Great Western Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Residents in the area are being asked to check Ring doorbells for any footage showing these males or this vehicle.
If anyone has any further information regarding this collision, please contact 101 quoting log 214 of yesterday’s date.
