We have arrested three people and seized around £40,000 in cash as well as class A drugs following an operation by the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team (LPTT).
Yesterday (14/01), officers from the team were alerted to a vehicle after it had been linked to suspicious activity in Chippenham. The vehicle was located near to the insured party’s address in Ryan Avenue, Chippenham.
Two men were detained inside the address while a section 32 PACE search was conducted.
During the search, a van arrived at the property. The driver was also detained while the van was searched.
Around a kilogram of cocaine and around £40,000 in cash were found during searches of the property, as well as around 8kg of methamphetamine.
Three men aged 54, 45 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Two of the men were also arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
They have been taken into custody for questioning.
