We are appealing for witnesses following an assault and attempted theft in Gorse Hill in the early hours of Friday morning (03/01).
At around 6.20am, on Cricklade Road opposite the Baptist Church near Transfer Bridges roundabout, a woman in her 50s has been grabbed by the arm and dragged to the floor by an unknown male, who has then demanded she hand over money.
The suspect has then run off towards Transfer Bridges.
The suspect is described as male, white, tall, wearing a brown cap and red trousers.
