We are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Melksham in the early hours of yesterday morning.
At around 5am on April 21, three or four people dressed in balaclavas entered a property on Semington Road after breaking a window.
The occupants had friends staying over for a party when they heard the loud bang. They ran upstairs and barricaded themselves into a bedroom.
The intruders caused extensive damage throughout the property, including pulling a mirror off the wall and causing damage to the stair bannisters.
It is believed the group were known to each other and made off on foot in the direction of the town centre.
If you have dashcam or doorbell footage that shows any suspicious activity between 4.30am and 5.15am on April 21, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 54250048144.
You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
