Our burglary team are investigating a second incident which occurred in Lyneham while the occupants were away from the property.
Sometime between 7.45am on September 1 and 2.50pm on September 6 a property on the Lillybrook Estate was broken into with jewellery to the value of £600 taken, along with an old backpack and work keys.
This follows another incident reported on September 6 where an elderly resident was awoken by a man in her home in the Lillybrook Estate.
Officers from our burglary team are currently carrying out extensive enquiries and would urge anyone with information to get in touch, including anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles or people in the Lyneham and Bradenstoke area in the early hours of September 6.
