Burglary at address in Lyneham - appeal for witnesses

Our burglary team are investigating an incident which occurred in Lyneham in the early hours of this morning (6/9).

At approximately 2am, an elderly resident was awoken by a man in her home in the Lillybrook Estate.

When challenged, the man left the scene. It’s not believed anything was stolen but damage was caused to the front door lock and the victim was left understandably shaken up and distressed.

Officers from our burglary team are currently carrying out extensive enquiries and would urge anyone with information to get in touch.
