An investigation is underway following an armed robbery at a Melksham pharmacy.
Shortly after 9am on Wednesday September 5, a man entered Gomples Pharmacy in Bank Street and threatened staff before making off with a number of perfumes.
Customers reported seeing a knife in the man’s hand at the time.
Sgt Gemma Rutter said: “Fortunately, nobody was hurt during this incident but those in the store at the time were understandably shaken up as a result of this man’s actions.
“Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident was reported and we are really keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious.
"Gompels is right in the centre of Melksham town and this incident happened at what would have been a busy time of day with people doing the school runs, or heading off to work. Please check your dash cams or CCTV to assist us with our enquiries.”
