We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a van and a pedestrian in Brickworth Road, Whiteparish, Salisbury, yesterday morning (22/11).
At around 10.20am, a woman in her 70s was struck by a van – a silver VW Transporter – which is thought to have left the road and mounted the pavement.
The woman has been taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are thought to be serious.
The driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
