We have arrested a man on suspicion of multiple offences following a serious incident at a farm near Amesbury in the early hours of Sunday morning (10/11).
The man, aged in his 20s, from near Wokingham, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, affray and criminal damage.
He is currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station for questioning.
The arrest follows an incident at a farm in Wilsford when several suspects in vehicles have surrounded the victims, shot out the windows using catapults and rammed the victim’s vehicle.
Inspector Andy Lemon, from Wiltshire's Rural Crime team, said: “We appreciate the huge amount of community concern that this incident has caused and we continue to take it extremely seriously.
“As part of our investigation, I can confirm that we have made an arrest and he is currently in custody for questioning.
“We are aware a number of vehicles were involved and we continue to appeal for anyone who may have seen or has CCTV footage of a number of 4x4 vehicles travelling through Amesbury, Wilsford and the Woodfords on Saturday night/Sunday morning to get in touch.
“We are also appealing for any dashcam footage of any 4x4 vehicles travelling along the A303 and M3 during the early hours of Sunday, November 10.
