We are renewing an appeal for information in relation to a sexual assault on a woman in Melksham.
At approximately 7.30pm on March 12, a woman in her 30s was running in the area of Cranesbill Road play area and Cranesbill Road into the nature area, near to the bridge that crosses the stream, when she was assaulted.
Fortunately, she wasn’t injured however, she was left incredibly shaken up.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, wearing a dark coloured hoodie and grey jogging bottoms.
Our enquiries have been ongoing since the initial report. As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time and saw someone matching the description, or anyone driving in the area who may have dash cam footage which could assist.
