Two people are currently in custody in connection with an assault which happened in Malmesbury last night (14/3).
At approximately 10.45pm a male was attacked by three people in Tetbury Hill. It is believed a metal pole was used during the attack.
The victim was seen limping away from the scene, but when officers arrived there was no sign of him and we have been unable to identify him to check on his welfare.
A 15-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man from Malmesbury were located and arrested on suspicion of affray. They remain in custody at Gablecross for questioning and our enquiries remain ongoing.
