A motorcyclist has sadly died following a collision near Devizes.
Emergency services were called at approximately 10.10am today (27/7) to the A342 Monument Hill following a report of a collision involving a motorbike and a Citroen van
Sadly, the motorcyclist – a man in his 60s from Melksham - died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
The driver of the van involved was uninjured.
A road closure was put in place on the A342 between Upavon and Monument whilst the incident was dealt with and investigations were carried out.
