An investigation into the death of a man in Coombe Bissett remains ongoing.
Officers attended a property in Thorne Close at approximately 3pm on January 4 following a report that a man in his 50s had been found with serious injuries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man died at the scene.
A post mortem has now taken place and was undetermined with further tests required.
A woman in her 40s who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has today (7/1) been released from custody in Swindon’s Gablecross Police Station on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
The cordon that was put in place at the address has today been lifted.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
