Appeal for witnesses following burglary at farm shop near Chippenham

Officers investigating a burglary at a farm shop are appealing for information.

Between approximately 10pm on December 21 and 2am on December 22, offenders broke in to Burton Farm Shop in The Street, Burton.

During the burglary, damage was caused to a door and cash was stolen, as well as a tip jar which contained an unknown amount of money.

Enquiries are currently ongoing.

We are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anybody acting suspiciously overnight on December 21- 22.
