Officers investigating a fail to stop collision in Swindon are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.
At approximately 1am on New Years Day (1/1/24), a cyclist – a man in his 30s – was knocked off his bike by a dark vehicle at the Transfer Bridges Roundabout at the junction with Cirencester Way.
The cyclist was heading in the direction of County Way at the time of the incident.
As a result, the cyclist sustained an injury to his head and leg and required hospital treatment.
The driver of the dark vehicle failed to stop at the scene and left in an unknown direction.
We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident including anyone who may have dash cam footage – it is likely there were more vehicles in the area than normal due to it being the early hours of New Years Day.
