A woman was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries following a collision near Calne yesterday (26/2).
At approximately 2.45pm, three vehicles – a Vauxhall Zafira, Dacia Sandero and a Nissan Juke - were involved in a collision on the A3102.
The driver of the Dacia, a woman in her 60s from Melksham, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital with life threatening injuries.
A child who was a passenger in the Vauxhall was taken to the Royal United Hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed between Calne and Sandy Lane while collision investigators attended the scene. It reopened at approximately 1am this morning.
