Officers were called to Lidl in Station Road, Warminster, at approximately 2am this morning (13/2) following an alarm activation.
It's believed offenders had broken in and stolen food and alcohol during the burglary.
Police Dog Skye attended the scene with her handler and searched the building. Another alarm could be heard sounding at a nearby building so PD Skye and handler followed the alarm.
They heard voices nearby and PD Skye located two people hiding in a hedge as well as rucksacks containing alcohol.
PD Skye then continued to search another building nearby, as well as a garden, and then into a hedge where she found a third person and another rucksack containing alcohol believed to have been stolen.
Further enquiries were carried out by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team in the hours that followed and as a result, a 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to custody in Gablecross where they remain for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing.
