A man has sadly died following an incident at Foxhill motocross, near Wanborough.
Emergency services were called to the event at around 9.15pm on Thursday evening (22/8) following a report that a man in his 30s had been assaulted and sustained significant injuries.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, but sadly, died yesterday (25/8).
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time - they are being supported by specialist officers.
Ben Starr, 34, of Woodside Avenue, Ripley, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. He appeared at court on Saturday and has been released on court bail until his next appearance on September 27.
The case is now being referred to the Major Crime Investigation Team and enquiries continue.
